Classic vintage circa 1940s era 14k yellow gold wedding band! This timeless minimalist band has light milgrain details on the edges and subtle designs stationed along the band. The inside of the band appears to be marked "H.P. to A.K. 10-23-48." This versatile band would be a lovely wedding band, or stacking ring. MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "14k" with a sideways "W" for J.R. Wood & Sons Company. The J.R. Wood & Sons Company was founded by John R. Wood in 1850 in Brooklyn, NY. Their catalog dated 1919, describes the company as, "Diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Sweet vintage wedding band!
