Beautiful vintage 10k yellow gold genuine opal ring, circa 1960s! This fabulous ring showcases a genuine opal center which displays a vibrant play-of-color, flashing orange, green, yellow, and violet hues. The oval cabochon gem weighs an estimated .46 carats and is secured by four prongs. The setting has an oval shaped ring head that has intricate open details and twisted style motifs. Lovely new old stock ring, featuring October's birthstone!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k yellow gold, genuine opal cabochon (approx. .46 ct).

MARKINGS/ HISTORY - Inside of the ring band is marked 'DASON 10K' for Davidson & Sons, a jewelry maker in business from the 1930s - 1960s. The firm was located in New York City, NY.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Piece has been professionally cleaned and lightly polished. Genuine opal is secure and in nice shape. Very little age consistent wear and character. Ring is new old stock (piece is genuine vintage, but is brand new) and has been in storage since the 70s. Amazing vintage opal ring from the 70s!
