Vintage Fabergé Heart Charm - Contemporary 18k Yellow Gold Green Enamel Natural Diamond Pendant Necklace - Circa 1990s Clover Fine Jewelry

Beautiful authentic Fabergé heart pendant in 18k yellow gold! This gorgeous pendant is in the shape of a heart and decorated with beautiful champlevé green enamel. The front of the pendant features a yellow gold three-leaf clover shape that is accented with four natural diamonds. The piece is modeled on a 16" gold filled chain that was added by us. A phenomenal collector's piece, signed by the House of Fabergé! This piece comes with an appraisal report from an independent appraiser, and has an appraised replacement value of $3,600.

METAL / MATERIAL - 18k yellow gold pendant, green enamel, natural round brilliant cut diamonds (approx. .08 ctw, approx. 1.70 mm each, E/F/G color, VS1-VS2 clarity)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of bail is stamped "750" and a stylized "VM" inside a hexagonal cartouche. Side of pendant is stamped "FABERGÉ ©" and "69/500."

The House of Fabergé was first established in 1842 and is most known for its iconic Fabergé easter eggs that the Russian Imperial family commissioned in the 1880s. These commissioned masterpieces were a royal family tradition for many years, resulting in fifty unique eggs.

The masterpieces of the House of Faberge were creating using decades of the careful study of art and jewelry craftsmanship. By the early 1900s, Faberge pieces were internationally renowned, with the firm being recognized for their mastery and given honorary royal court titles around the world.

The name Faberge is now practically synonymous with masterfully crafted jeweled eggs featuring expert enameling techniques.

The hexagonal "VM" mark is for the company Victor Mayer gmBhh & Co. of Pforzheim, Germany, established in 1890 and well-regarded for their enamel work. This company was the exclusive manufacturer for Fabergé from 1989 to 2000.

CONDITION - Very good vintage condition. Enamel is intact. Amazing collector's piece!
