There are classic Deco style engraved designs in white gold at the top and bottom of the gem setting, and the tapered shank has handsome linear details. A beautiful piece of fine vintage jewelry, featuring February's birthstone!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of shank is marked "10K B&F" for Baden and Foss Inc. The firm was established around the 1940s and based in New York City.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Ring has been professionally polished & cleaned. Amethyst is securely half bezel set and in nice shape. Age appropriate patina and wear remain, mainly to inside of cathedral shoulders, and why we are not recommending resizing for this ring. Amazing 1940s amethyst ring!
