Star Sapphire Ring - Modernist 14k White Gold Oval Cabochon Cut & .06 CTW Diamonds - Circa 1970s Size 6 1/4 Fine Unisex Bridal Jewelry

Beautiful Modernist era 14k white gold natural diamond and black star sapphire ring, circa 1970s! This unique ring features an oval cabochon cut natural black star sapphire weighing approximately 3.25 carats. The lovely star sapphire is brownish black with a strong 6-rayed star. There are three sparkly round natural diamonds bead set in triangular details in a clustered geometric fashion at the ring's shoulders, with Florentine finish background on the shoulders. The ring design is a domed style, that comes to a chevron point on either profile side, with a second layer of tapered interest to the band. Incredible piece of fine vintage jewelry featuring a phenomenal gemstone!

METAL / MATERIAL - 14k white gold, 1 natural black star sapphire gemstone (approx. 3.25 carats), 6 natural round single cut diamonds (approx. .06 ctw, I color, SI1 clarity).

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "14k". Ring was sourced in Las Vegas, NV.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Ring has been professionally polished & cleaned, and freshly rhodium plated. Very little age consistent wear. Light surface wear to sapphire visible under magnification. Amazing vintage star sapphire ring!
