Beautiful vintage 1930s Art Deco era sterling silver morpho butterfly wing sailboat pendant! This nautical pendant features a rectangular iridescent blue morpho butterfly wing, preserved under a clear glass cover. Depicted on the blue wing is a sailboat on a body of water with a lighthouse in the background. The vintage charm is shown modeled on a brand new 20 inch sterling silver chain that was added by us. MARKINGS / HISTORY - Chain clasp is marked '925' and back of pendant is marked 'STERLING PAT AUG 1924'

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Sterling silver metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Butterfly wing has been preserved. Very little age appropriate patina & wear remains to metal. Some darkening to morpho butterfly wing. Amazing vintage butterfly wing necklace!
