Amazing Mid Century era 14k gold statement halo ring! This gorgeous statement ring features an elongated cabochon cut created blue sapphire in the center that is bezel-set and surrounded by a halo of natural round brilliant cut diamonds. The halo is accented with milgrain texture and curved gold details, with a caged undergallery featuring natural leafy motifs. The ring has cathedral style white gold shoulders and a polished yellow gold shank. Stunning two tone statement ring from circa 1960s!

METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow and white gold, 1 created blue sapphire (approx. 17.76 x 6.13 mm), 28 natural round brilliant cut diamonds (approx. 1.40 ctw, I/J color, SI2, I1-I2 clarity)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - The outside of the back of the band has maker's marks including a star marking with a sickle indicating Russian origin, and the numbers "585" for 14k.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally polished and cleaned. Minimal patina & wear remains. Gemstones are secure. Amazing vintage halo ring!
