METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow gold, 14k white gold, citrine (approx. 2.80 CT), 5 round single cut diamonds (approx. .06 CTW, G-H color, SI clarity)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of shank is marked "14K 585" with a "RONAY" makers mark. Frank Ronay, originally from Budapest, and recognized as on elf the preferred jewelers of Emperor Franz Joseph's court, the head of the Austro-Hungarian Empire until World War I. Born in 1887, he emigrated to Mexico in 1923 and founded the "First National Jewelry Factory, S.A," which was the first professional jewelry factory in the Republic of Mexico officially recognized by the government. Thanks to this track record and well-deserved trust, in 1945, Don Frank Ronay was granted the privilege of designing and creating the crown for the Virgin of Guadalupe to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of her coronation in 1895.
