Lovely 1930s Art Deco era 14k white gold natural carnelian filigree ring! This incredible ring features a rectangular French cut faceted natural carnelian gemstone that is beautifully prong set. The setting and gallery are further decorated with open metal floral filigree. The shoulders taper with engraved designs that leads to a unadorned back of shank. A unique vintage carnelian ring from the Art Deco era!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of shank is marked "A&S 14k" for Abraham and Strauss. A department store founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 1865. Over its long history, the department store commissioned, curated, and sold a wide variety of signed pieces—ranging from Art Deco solid gold filigree rings to 1980s rhinestone-encrusted fashion brooches.

CONDITION - Fair vintage condition. Ring has been professionally cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Carnelian is secure in setting. This ring is not perfectly symmetric. Amazing vintage carnelian ring!
