MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is stamped "Belais 10k" In 1917, David Belais of Belais Brothers acquired a patent for white gold. The Belais alloy was extremely popular; During the 1920s, white gold was sometimes referred to as “Belais metal.” Belais jewelry is highly collectible & sought after, because their company is considered to be the first to use white gold in the U.S. Their pieces are like owning a piece of jewelry history!
CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Piece has been professionally cleaned and lightly polished. The designs have been well preserved. Light surface wear to green glass under magnification. Dazzling Art Deco era ring, which is even lovelier in person!
