Gorgeous and rare Art Deco era 14k white gold, rock crystal quartz, and diamond brooch. This exquisite piece features a carved natural rock crystal quartz base with starburst designs, that is accented with an approx. .06 carat old European diamond in the center. The piece is detailed with intricate platinum filigree and engraved designs on the borders, and fastens with a rotating pin and lever clasp. Incredible piece of fine Art Deco era jewelry!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Clasp is stamped "14k & Plat" (note that no part of the pin tests as platinum). Piece was sourced in Las Vegas.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Rock crystal quartz and diamond are secure, and in nice shape. Little age consistent wear and patina remain. Amazing Art Deco rock crystal brooch!
