Lovely Edwardian era gold filled photo locket! This antique locket has a round shape, with a pretty engraved flower and shield designs. The keepsake fob is new old stock signed by R.B. Macdonald & Company, and is one of their highly collectible "Little Beatrice" lockets patented in 1903. The round pendant is shown modeled on a brand new 14k gold filled 18" chain. Both bezels are intact and ready to store your special photos. A pretty piece of new old stock signed Edwardian era jewelry!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of locket marked "1874 RBM Atrice" and patent number for R.B. Macdonald & Company, founded in 1874 in Attleboro, Massachusetts; a prominent jewelry manufacturer known for gold-filled and sterling silver pieces, particularly their "Little Beatrice" lockets, until 1924. The "RBM Atrice 1874" mark features a bee (symbolizing 'B') combined with "Atrice" to spell "Beatrice," a line named after the owner's daughter.
CONDITION - Very good antique condition. Very little age appropriate patina & wear remains. Amazing signed Edwardian era locket!
