Wonderful antique hallmarked 1909-10 Edwardian era 9k yellow gold locket! This petite oval pendant is 9k yellow gold with beautiful swirling floral engravings on both sides. Inside behind the clear cover is some preserved hair, likely for a mourning piece or a cherished lock from a loved one. On the back of the locket there are hallmarks for 9k, Chester, England, 1909-10, and the piece is modeled on a 20" gold filled chain. A collectible piece of fine antique jewelry!
