Antique Edwardian Ring - Circa 1910s 18k Yellow Gold & Platinum Old Mine Cut Diamonds Natural Blue Sapphire - Size 5.75 Fine Report Jewelry

A gorgeous early 1900s era natural blue sapphire and old mine cut diamond ring! This beautiful three across antique ring features an oval faceted natural blue sapphire gemstone center with a medium dark, slightly violetish blue color. The sapphire gem is flanked on either side with an old mine cut diamond, with an estimated total diamond weight of .92 carats. All three natural stones are set in platinum basket style heads, and the cathedral style 18k yellow gold shank is unadorned. Outstanding handmade Edwardian Era engagement jewelry, dating from the early 1900s! The ring includes a Qualitative Report by one of our GIA Graduate Gemologists!

METAL / MATERIAL - 18k yellow gold, platinum, natural oval faceted blue sapphire (approx. .73 CT), two old mine cut diamonds (approx. .92 CTW, H-J color, SI2 clarity due to natural inclusion confined to girdles).

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of shank is marked "18&PT" with a maker's mark for Payton, Pepper, & Sons, Ltd.

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Ring has been professionally cleaned and polished with setting refurbished. Very light, age consistent wear remains. Incredible Edwardian era sapphire and diamond ring!
