METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow gold, two round brilliant cut diamonds (1 diamond approx. 0.02 ct, H color, SI1 clarity, the other diamond is broken and we are unable to get accurate weight or color, I3 clarity.)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - No markings but piece has been professionally tested. Snake jewelry experienced its most famous boom during the 19th century. In 1839, Prince Albert gave Queen Victoria a coiled serpent engagement ring set with an emerald (her birthstone) to symbolize eternal love and wisdom. This sparked a massive European "snake-mania". Snake jewelry has had its moment in all eras and continues to be a symbol of eternal love and loyalty.

CONDITION - Fair condition. Yellow gold metal has been refurbished & cleaned. Cracks and porosity remain to inside of thin shank and one diamond is broken - wear with extra care. Gemstones are secure in settings. Amazing gold snake ring!
