This incredible three stone engagement ring features an approx. 0.80 carat prong-set natural oval faceted violet blue tanzanite gemstone in the center, flanked by a natural round brilliant cut diamond on each side. The dainty white gold cathedral shank is reverse tapered and polished. An absolutely stunning 1950s era engagement ring!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of shank is marked "B&F 14k" for Baden & Foss, a prominent American fine jewelry manufacturer based in New York City. Established in the first half of the 20th century (with active operational milestones recorded from around 1943 through the late 1970s), the company built a strong reputation for producing high-quality ladies' and men's gold stone rings, cocktail rings, and fine jewelry.

CONDITION - Fair vintage condition. Ring has been professionally cleaned. Tanzanite gem is newer and not original to mounting. Gemstones are secure in settings. Beautiful Mid Century engagement ring!
