Gorgeous Retro era dated 1952 yellow & white gold milgrained band! This stunning two tone wedding ring has a thick half round cigar band style, with a total of four rows of milgrain engraving detail continuously around the textured band. The ring is hand engraved inside the band with "J. B. to G. C. 6 - 1 - 52". A fantastic piece of retro era dated bridal jewelry!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "14KWART-CARVED" which was a trademark for J.R. Wood & Sons Company. The J.R. Wood & Sons Company was founded by John R. Wood in 1850 in Brooklyn, NY. Their catalog dated 1919, describes the company as, "Diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Yellow & white gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Designs are in good shape. Amazing vintage band!
