Classic vintage Mid Century 14k yellow gold dainty wedding band! This timeless minimalist band contains a high polished finish and is free of embellishments. The inside of the band is lovingly engraved with what appears to read "P.E.H. - B.L.B. 5.21.46." It is a versatile Mid Century ring and would make a perfect wedding, stacking, or "just because" band. Lovely piece of fine vintage jewelry, by J.R. Wood & Sons, circa 1940s!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked '14k W ArtCarved', which was a trademark for J.R. Wood & Sons Company. The J.R. Wood & Sons Company was founded by John R. Wood in 1850 in Brooklyn, NY. Their catalog dated 1919, describes the company as, "Diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Ring has been professionally refurbished. Minimal age consistent surface wear and patina remains to metal. A classic band which looks even better in person!
