Fabulous vintage circa 1960s era 14k yellow gold onyx & diamond ring! This stylish statement ring features a prong-set marquise shaped natural black chalcedony gemstone (commonly known as onyx), with a natural .06 carat diamond in a white plaque center. The shoulders are pinched at the ring head, and the shank is high polished. A fantastic piece of fine 1960s era jewelry!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "14k B&F" for Baden and Foss Inc. The firm was established around the 1940s and based in New York City.

CONDITION - Fair vintage condition. Ring has been professionally cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Setting of black chalcedony is reinforced with glue. Diamond and black chalcedony both have chips. Lovely vintage onyx ring!
