This incredible betrothal ring features a natural fancy cut rectangular sard gemstone that displays a classic carved gold inlay of a flower that is accented with a tiny natural rose cut diamond. MARKINGS / HISTORY - No markings, but piece has been professionally tested. The Victorians were very symbolic, and these kinds of rings were often given as engagement, betrothal, or love tokens.
CONDITION - Fair antique condition. Piece has been lightly polished and cleaned. Shank is thin, and there are some cracks in the prongs. Wear with extra care and consideration - we would not recommend sizing, or that this be an everyday piece. An exceptional collectible Victorian era piece!
