Gorgeous antique circa 1920s era Art Deco 10k white gold genuine shell cameo ring! This stunning statement ring features a genuine carved shell cameo that depicts a women in white on a peachy pink background. There are intricate filigree style details covering the setting, and the piece features the rare Ostby and Barton Maltese cross marking on the inside of the band. A beautiful piece of fine Art Deco era jewelry!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k white gold, genuine carved shell cameo.

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "OB 10K" with a Maltese cross for Ostby & Barton. Ostby (Co-owner of company) was a first class passenger on the Titanic & was among one of the 1,500 passengers who perished during the tragic iceberg collision.The company was established 1879 in Providence, Rhode Island. At it's time, it was considered one of the leading producers of fine jewelry. The company ceased production in the 1950s. Ostby & Barton jewelry is highly desired by collectors of fine antique jewelry for its beautiful workmanship & historical significance.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. White gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Genuine gemstone is securely prong set. Cameo is in nice shape, details have been well preserved. Amazing antique cameo ring!
