Antique circa 1900s era 10k yellow gold belt buckle ring! This unique and symbolic band features belt loop closure motif. On one shoulder is what appears to be the letters "IT' in Old English font, but the ambiguous letters are up to interpretation. Would make an incredible statement ring band, or unique wedding band on any gender. A gorgeous piece of fine antique jewelry, ready to be worn for another lifetime!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "WWW" for White Wile & Warner. The firm was based in Buffalo, NY and was a prominent manufacturer of gold rings in the early 1900's. Sometimes their rings were referred to as "triple W rings". One of their slogans was "National makers of rings whose stones do stay."
Antique belt buckle motifs were a popular design in Victorian Era jewelry. The belt buckle motif was often a sentiment of love representing eternity (eternal loop of belt) and also stood for strength & loyalty.
CONDITION - Good antique condition. Ring was refurbished, polished, and cleaned by our jeweler. Minimal age consistent wear and patina remain. Amazing Edwardian belt buckle ring!
