Lovely antique circa 1910s Edwardian era 10k yellow gold lavalier! This beautiful lavalier features a reddish purple glass stone, and is studded with seed pearls. There is a pearl dangling below with a cute flower motif, and the piece is shown modeled on a brand new 14k gold filled 16" chain. MARKINGS / HISTORY - Pendant bail is marked "OB 10K" Ostby (Co-owner of company) was a first class passenger on the Titanic & was among one of the 1,500 passengers who perished during the tragic iceberg collision. The company was established 1879 in Providence, Rhode Island. At its time, it was considered one of the leading producers of fine jewelry. The company ceased production in the 1950s. Ostby & Barton jewelry is highly desired by collectors of fine antique jewelry for its beautiful workmanship & historical significance.

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally polished and cleaned. Glass stones & seed pearls are secure. Amazing antique lavalier!
