Vintage "Sue" Locket - Mid Century Era 10k Yellow Rose Gold Round Floral Pendant Charm Necklace - Dated 1949 Engraved Keepsake Fine Jewelry

Lovely vintage 10k yellow gold locket! This beautiful dainty round locket is engraved with yellow and rose gold floral designs and the name "Sue" on the front and the date "4-24-49" on the back. The locket opens and closes securely and hangs from a 16" gold filled chain that was added by us. A precious little locket from the late 1940s!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k yellow gold

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Back of locket is marked "14kt" with a maker's mark of an arrow going through the letters "CA" for Carl Art Inc. The firm was founded in 1936 in Providence, RI. They were in business until at least 1976.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally cleaned. Designs have been preserved with minimal age appropriate patina and wear. Lovely vintage locket!
