MARKINGS / HISTORY - Clasp is marked, "14K" with a maker's mark for OroAmerica Inc., founded in 1977 in Burbank, California, by Guy Benhamou and Gianfranco Proia, growing to become one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of gold jewelry in the United States. There is a patent tag that reads, "PAT # 4651517", which indicates the invention was filed on 8/15/85, and contained a different annular link design.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Chain necklace has been professionally cleaned. Minimal age appropriate patina & wear remains. Amazing vintage rope chain!
