Incredible vintage circa 1940s era gold filled over sterling silver Prop & Wings pendant! This lovely pendant design is a heart shaped pendant with flower details, and features a Prop and Wings emblem with a bezel set natural mother of pearl background. The back of the pendant opens to revel a hidden locket compartment. The vintage pendant is shown modeled on a brand new 14k gold filled 20" chain. A collectible piece of vintage aviation jewelry!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Back of locket is marked "PR.ST.CO. 1/20-12KT on Sterling" for The Providence Stock Company, based in Providence, Rhode Island - a prolific American jewelry manufacturer active from 1890 to 1950, historically located at 100 Stewart Street in Providence, the firm thrived during the Golden Age of American costume and fine jewelry.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Locket has been professionally polished & cleaned. Age appropriate patina remains. Amazing vintage aviation locket necklace!
