Gorgeous vintage circa 1930s Art Deco era 14k yellow gold natural amethyst ring! This beautiful piece showcases a natural approx. 5.34 carat purple amethyst gemstone secured with white gold prongs. There are unique floral details, and the filigree setting is yellow gold. Incredible piece of fine Art Deco Era jewelry, featuring February's birthstone!

METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow gold, natural amethyst (approx. 5.34 CT)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of shank is very vaguely marked "OB" and has been professionally tested. Ostby (Co-owner of company) was a first class passenger on the Titanic & was among one of the 1,500 passengers who perished during the tragic iceberg collision. The company was established 1879 in Providence, Rhode Island. At it's time, it was considered one of the leading producers of fine jewelry. The company ceased production in the 1950s. Ostby & Barton jewelry is highly desired by collectors of fine antique jewelry for its beautiful workmanship & historical significance.

PROVENANCE - Las Vegas

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Ring has been professionally polished & cleaned. Age consistent wear and patina remain. Small chip to gem under one prong. Amazing vintage amethyst ring!
