Rare antique Victorian era rosy gold filled human hair bracelet! This stunning mourning style bracelet is comprised of intricately woven and braided hair in warm and deep shades of brown. In the center is a handmade pierced monogram charm depicting ornate and interlocking "WC" initials. The woven hair is secured in bar panel findings, and the bracelet secures with a large decorative spring ring clasp and dog clip combination. Absolutely incredible piece of Victorian mourning jewelry from the 19th century, in beautiful condition!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - No markings, but metals all professionally tested in our gem lab. Mourning jewelry was popular in the Victorian era (1837 - 1901) as a remembrance token of a loved one that had passed, or as a token of affection between two lovers.
CONDITION - Good antique condition. Gold fill metal has been lightly polished. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Clasps both open and close securely. Hair has been preserved. Amazing Victorian hair bracelet!
