Mesmerizing vintage 10k yellow gold ring featuring a beautiful created color changing sapphire, weighing an impressive estimated 3.33 carats! The synthetic sapphire displays a color change phenomenon, shifting from pink, magenta, and purple depending on the light and angle. The large created sapphire is faceted oval cut and secured by 4 prongs, above a scalloped flower style gold halo. The shank is unadorned. Unique and substantial piece of fine retro jewelry circa 1940s, with an intriguing optical gem effect!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of the ring band is marked '10K'

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Ring has been cleaned and lightly polished. Age appropriate patina and wear remains to metal. Created sapphire is secure in setting, and is in nice overall shape. Fabulous retro piece of fine jewelry!
