Unique vintage circa 1960s era yellow gold filled bloodstone scarab ring! This rare statement ring features a natural bloodstone gemstone that is intricately carved as a scarab beetle. There are hieroglyphics carved into the backside, and the setting has classic designs. A fabulous piece of fine Egyptian revival style jewelry!

Burt Cassell Inc. was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1953, with an additional showroom in New York City. The company specialized in high-quality 12-karat gold-filled jewelry featuring carved semi-precious gemstone scarabs. Their jewelry remained popular throughout the 1950s and 1960s.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Natural bloodstone is secure. Amazing vintage scarab ring!
