Antique Watch Key Fob - Victorian Gold Filled & Yellow Glass Engraved Utility Charm Necklace - Circa 1870s Era Chatelaine Statement Jewelry

Rare and collectible antique Victorian era gold filled and yellow glass watch key fob charm! The engraved and tapered hexagonal shaped fob has a round faceted bezel set yellow glass stone on one side, and the other side has a pocket watch winding key. The fob is shown worn on a 20" gold filled chain but would have been originally worn on a chatelaine, a decorative belt hook, clasp, or waist chain with suspended short chains used to carry everyday tools and keys in the Victorian Era. Truly one of a kind piece of historical fine jewelry!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - No markings but piece has been professionally tested.

CONDITION - Fair antique condition. Gold filled metal was professionally polished and cleaned. Some wear to seams and we were unable to clean under glass. Age appropriate patina remains. Gorgeous antique watch fob key!
