Rare antique Edwardian era 10k yellow gold triple snake diamond ring! This incredible antique ring features a triple-shank design that twists into three serpent heads that are decorated with a total of nine natural old European cut diamonds. The natural old cut diamonds total approximately .53 carats! An incredible antique statement piece dripping with Victorian era symbolism!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k yellow gold, natural old European cut diamonds (approx. .53 ctw, H-J color, SI-I clarity)
MARKINGS / HISTORY - No markings, but piece has been professionally tested. Snakes & serpents have been a highly symbolic motif for centuries. In 1840 Queen Victoria received an exquisite snake & emerald ring from Prince Albert for their engagement, which greatly increased the popularity of the snake motif. Snakes often coiled body position can also be a symbol of everlasting and eternal love. Additionally, since snakes shed their skin, this can represent regeneration, rebirth or transformation.
CONDITION - Good antique condition. Gold metal has been professionally cleaned. Natural diamonds are secure. Age consistent wear and patina remain. Beautiful and rare Victorian era heirloom piece!
