Beautiful and unique antique sterling silver Victorian era floral hinged bangle! This ornate bracelet is a lattice of pierced open metal floral design, with accenting rose and yellow gold details. The back half is free of design, and is lovingly engraved with script monogram "AB". The hinged bangle secures with a hidden box clasp. Gorgeously detailed piece of antique jewelry, circa 1880s!

METAL / MATERIAL - Sterling silver, rose and yellow gold accents

HALLMARKS / HISTORY - Bangle is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, England, and the year 1883. There is a "JMB" maker's mark for John Millward Banks of Birmingham circa 1863 - 1925, and the number 11.

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Bracelet has been lightly cleaned and polished. Designs have been beautifully preserved, with little small breaks to design. Some minimal age appropriate patina and wear remains; clasp secures as it should. Beautiful antique bracelet!

MEASUREMENTS - Inner circumference: 6 1/2 inches, Bangle Width: 3/4 of an inch, Weight: 31.0 grams
