Collectible and unique vintage circa 1970s era 14k yellow gold daisy cameo ring! This unique ring features a round Wedgwood cameo design depicting a white and yellow daisy on a black Jasperware background. This dainty handmade ring is a twisted rope split shank open metal design, and the cameo is prong set. A fantastic piece of vintage Wedgwood cameo jewelry!

METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow gold, jasperware cameo (approx. 8.80 mm)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "14K TP". Backside of cameo is stamped with an S, which stands for "Small." Wedgwood produced their jewelry cameos in standardized sizes so that commercial jewelers could easily set them into handmade and manufactured metal mountings. The letters stamped into the clay (such as S for Small, M for Medium, or L for Large, allowed the craftsmen of the pottery and the jewelers to quickly identify the setting size without needing to measure every piece.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Ring has been professionally cleaned. Little age appropriate patina & wear remains. Cameo has been well preserved. Handmade gold ring is dainty, and in combination with the porcelain stone, should be worn with care. Amazing vintage Wedgwood daisy ring!
