Inside of the ring is hand engraved with, "JAL - JLT 9-19-81". This versatile band would be a lovely wedding band, or stacking ring. MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "14k W ArtCarved", which was a trademark for J.R. Wood & Sons Company. The J.R. Wood & Sons Company was founded by John R. Wood in 1850 in Brooklyn, NY. Their catalog dated 1919, describes the company as, "Diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

CONDITION - Great vintage condition. Ring has been cleaned, polished, and rhodium plated by our jeweler. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Amazing vintage wedding band!
