Beautiful vintage circa 1940s era 10k yellow gold simulated emerald ring! This lovely ring features an emerald cut faceted created spinel triplet stone. There are decorative motifs on the setting border and shoulders, and the shank is free of design. A fantastic piece of fine vintage simulated emerald jewelry!

METAL / MATERIAL - 10k yellow gold, created spinel triplet stone

A triplet is a composite gemstone made up of three parts. This man-made method was common of the era because it was less expensive than using an entire natural gemstone. This ring features a triplet made of created spinel and glass on the top and bottom with a layer of green cement in the center.

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "10k ESEMCO" The Esemco company was established in 1906 in Newark, New Jersey and changed their name to Shiman Manufacturing Co. in 1971.

CONDITION - Fair vintage condition. Ring has been professionally polished & cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Stone is heavily abraded. Amazing vintage ring!
