Stunning antique 1910s Edwardian era 10k yellow gold initials "MG" signet ring! This unique band is designed with an oval shield center, carefully engraved with script monogram MG, and has incredible swirling scroll design shoulders. A fantastic piece of fine antique jewelry!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - No metal markings but piece has been professionally tested. Inside of band has makers mark for M.B. Bryant & Co., a renowned American jewelry manufacturing firm founded in 1858 by Monroe B. Bryant. Operating out of Newark, New Jersey, and Maiden Lane in New York City, the company specialized almost exclusively in manufacturing rings and became one of the leading jewelry houses of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. By the time of Monroe Bryant's death in 1907, he was widely celebrated as the "oldest ring maker in America".

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Amazing antique signet ring!
