Incredible and rare gold filled lion's head bangle bracelet, patented on December 26th 1905! This Edwardian era beauty is hollow by design, and features a lion head and arms motif embellished with red rhinestones for eyes and clear rhinestone fixed in it's mouth. The bangle bracelet is hinged and secures with a push clasp. An incredible Edwardian era lion motif bracelet!

METAL / MATERIAL - Gold fill, rhinestones

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Stamped with "Bates & B." for Bates & Bacon (often marked as "B&B"), a prominent American jewelry and pocket watch case manufacturer based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, operating from 1867 until 1958.

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Bracelet has been gently cleaned. Little age consistent wear remains. Rhinestones are reinforced with epoxy; wear with care. Amazing antique Edwardian era lion bangle bracelet!

MEASUREMENTS - Inner circumference: 7.5 inches, Lion Head: 1 inch, Back of Bracelet: 3/8 inch, Weight: 31.5 grams
