MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "D&F 14k" for Dattlebaum & Friedman which was a jewelry firm specializing in 10k, 14k, & 18k gold rings. They were based in New York, New York from the early 1900s to at least 1950.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Piece has been professionally cleaned. Age consistent wear and patina remain. Gemstone has some age consistent wear, and one prong is short but gemstone is secure. Fabulous antique amethyst ring!
