MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked with a sideways "10k WOOD" for J.R. Wood & Sons Company. The J.R. Wood & Sons Company was founded by John R. Wood in 1850 in Brooklyn, NY. Their catalog dated 1919, describes the company as, "Diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Some smoothing to designs, and a satin finish added as consistent with age and durability of ring. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Amazing antique blank signet ring!
