MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked '14k W ArtCarved', which was a trademark for J.R. Wood & Sons Company. The J.R. Wood & Sons Company was founded by John R. Wood in 1850 in Brooklyn, NY. Their catalog dated 1919, describes the company as, "Diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally polished and cleaned. Some age consistent surface wear remains to metal. Diamonds are secure in settings and are in nice age consistent shape. Band is round and substantial. Unique vintage engagement ring!
