This beautiful filigree ring features a .40 carat genuine emerald gemstone which is secured in the center of the ring head with four prongs. METAL / MATERIAL - 18k white gold, genuine emerald (approx. .40 ct)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of the band is stamped "BELAIS 18K". In 1917, David Belais of Belais Brothers acquired a patent for white gold. The Belais alloy was extremely popular; During the 1920s, white gold was sometimes referred to as “Belais metal.” Belais jewelry is highly collectible & sought after, because their company is considered to be the first to use white gold in the U.S. Their pieces are like owning a piece of jewelry history!

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. White gold metal has been professionally polished and newly rhodium plated. Filigree is intact and has been well preserved. Genuine emerald, added by us, is secure in setting. Amazing Art deco era genuine gemstone ring!
