Fantastic vintage 14k yellow and white gold created sapphire ring, circa 1940s! This stunning Retro era ring showcases a rectangular faceted 5.5 carat created blue sapphire which is secured in a geometric style setting. The white gold center of the ring has unique linear geometric designs, and the band of the ring is yellow gold and unadorned. METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow & white gold, rectangular faceted created blue sapphire stone (approx. 5.53 ct)

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of the ring band is marked '585' for 14k gold, and there is a mark on the outside of the ring band that could possibly be a 'W4' with a clover shape in the center.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Piece has been professionally cleaned and lightly polished. Designs and details have been beautifully preserved. Created sapphire stone in in nice age consistent shape and is secure in setting. Culet of stone drops below gallery slightly and touches finger when worn. Lovely ring, which is even more stunning in person!
