Dazzling vintage sterling silver simulated opal ring. This piece features a colorful oval glass cabochon, which imitates the appearance of an opal. The stone is securely bezel set and has a marcasite halo. Gorgeous piece of vintage statement jewelry, circa 1930s!

METAL / MATERIAL - Sterling silver, 1 simulated opal cabochon (art glass)
MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of band is marked "STERLING" with arrows pointing to a capital letter "U" for Uncas Manufacturing Co, which was founded in 1911 by Vincent Sorrentino and was known as a leading manufacturer of rings.
CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Simulated opal cabochon is secure in setting and is in overall nice shape. Silver has been cleaned and lightly polished. A fabulous and unique vintage ring!
