Unique antique circa 1890s Victorian era 14k yellow gold scarab beetle pendant! This genuine antique scarab beetle charm has an eye catching iridescent green exoskeleton body. The reverse of the Egyptian bug charm has a closed back, and there are wire details on the top. The figural bug was originally an antique stick pin that we had converted into a modern necklace charm, and is shown modeled on a brand new 14k gold filled 20" chain. An incredible piece of fine Egyptian inspired jewelry, from the Victorian era!

In ancient Egypt Scarabaeidae beetles were regarded as sacred and were worn for protection and good luck.
