Beautiful and rare antique Victorian Era 10k rose gold genuine amethyst & seed pearl Rose of Sharon ring, circa 1890s! The rectangular cut purple amethyst gem is inlaid with a sweet gilded flower motif and a seed pearl. There is a wide cigar band, which is embellished with ornate shoulder designs. A symbolically romantic piece of fine floral jewelry, over a century old!

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Smoothed markings on inside of band, possibly ACHO. Throughout the Victorian era, Rose of Sharon rings were popularly given as engagement or betrothal gifts - or even just as love tokens!

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Ring has been professionally cleaned and polished. Very little age appropriate patina / wear remains. Designs and details have been beautifully preserved. Some seed pearls were replaced, original ones are darker in hue. Amazing antique Rose of Sharon ring!
