Exquisite Retro era 14k yellow gold amethyst, and cultured pearl earrings, circa 1940s! These vintage statement earrings each feature a large pear cut genuine amethyst gemstone which is secured in a bezel. Each earring has a twisted border the entire way around the setting, and has a pretty cultured pearl drop hanging from each point. The pair hangs from kidney ear wires that latch at a closure at the bottom of the earring. Stunning pair of Retro earrings, showcasing nearly 10 carats of amethysts!

METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow gold earrings, 2 pear cut genuine amethyst gemstones (approx. 9.96 ctw), 2 genuine cultured pearls.

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Earrings are marked '14K' on each reverse side.

CONDITION - Good vintage condition. Yellow gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Little patina and wear remains to metal. Very minor flea bite nicks present to amethyst facet junctions, only visible with magnification. Amazing Retro statement earrings!
