MARKINGS / HISTORY - Bracelet is marked "BELAIS 18K SM&S" In 1917, David Belais of Belais Brothers acquired a patent for white gold. The Belais alloy was extremely popular; During the 1920s, white gold was sometimes referred to as “Belais metal.” Belais jewelry is highly collectible & sought after, because their company is considered to be the first to use white gold in the U.S. Their pieces are like owning a piece of jewelry history!

CONDITION - Good antique condition. White gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Glass stones are secure. Unique clasp opens and secures as it should with a two part clasp. Amazing antique line bracelet!
