Unique antique Edwardian Era sterling silver blue Wedgwood Apollo cameo pendant, circa 1900s! This collectible blue jasperware cameo depicts the Greek God Apollo with his lyre! The backside of the dark blue and white cameo is signed Wedgwood and contains the date letter L, indicating it was made between 1883 - 1909. The pendant is shown modeled on a vintage 18" sterling silver chain. The cameo is bezel set and pretty scrolling metal work adorns the pendant. A fantastic & rare piece of antique Wedgwood jewelry!

METAL / MATERIAL - Sterling silver, Wedgwood cameo

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Back of pendant is marked "WEDGWOOD" along with the letter L, indicating it was made between 1883 - 1909. Wedgwood was founded in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood who is now considered to be the "Father of English Potters." The company is still in business today, operated by WWRD Holding Ltd.

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Piece has been professionally cleaned & lightly polished. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Cameo is in beautiful shape, with very minor darkening in a few areas. Amazing Wedgwood necklace!
