METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow gold, 1 brilliant cut diamond (approx. 1.00 carat, K color, I2 clarity).

MARKINGS / HISTORY - Inside of the band is stamped "14k" with a sideways "W" for J.R. Wood & Sons Company. The J.R. Wood & Sons Company was founded by John R. Wood in 1850 in Brooklyn, NY. Their catalog dated 1919, describes the company as, "Diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

CONDITION - Good antique condition. Piece has been professionally cleaned and lightly polished. Diamond (added by us) is secure in setting. The epitome of a classic diamond engagement ring!
